NC advises PDP to make way for fresh election

Srinagar, January 16: It is high time that either PDP should break its alliance with the BJP or start delivering on its political and economic promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, said National Conference (NC) on Friday as the suspense over government formation in the state deepens in the state.

The statement was made by, NC chief spokesman Aga Ruhullah who further said that there was absolutely no reason left  for the people of J&K to trust the PDP again. The party took two months to finalise  an agenda of alliance with the BJP and spent the next 10 months declaring how well this alliance was delivering.

At this present moment, PDP has two clear options. One is to break alliance with the BJP and other is to delivering on the promises they had made in the ‘Agenda of the Alliance’. However, if PDP is not hungry for power at the cost of its own dignity and much more importantly that of the state then it should go with the breaking of alliance option and make way for fresh elections in the state.

Abdullah said that PDP has compromised the honour and dignity of the state and its people to remain in power. It has gulped all sort of criticism and hatred in the past 10 months for the sole dream of sitting on the highest chair in state.
