Nikon’s ‘smallest and lightest full-frame DSLR’ yet, the D610, is now available in India. This has a 24.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor, Nikon’s EXPEED 3 image processing engine and the ISO range is between 100 and 6400. In a statement, Nikon said this camera has a new shutter release that lets users click around six frames per second and features a technology called the Quiet Continuous shutter release mode. DSLRs are known to be noisy, even though the ‘click’ sound made by the shutter is music to photographers’ ears. This camera lets users click silently, for situations where the DSLR’s click is too loud. This camera has a 39-point autofocus system and a 3.2-inch LCD screen. Video enthusiasts can shoot at full HD resolution using this camera. This camera has two SD card slots and has an optional wireless remote too. Thr price for the Nikon D610 (body only) is Rs 1,29,950, and if you want a 24-85 mm VR lens kit with the camera, the cost is Rs 1,57,950.
