Nine injured in a Matador Truck collision in Udhampur.


Jammu, Mar 15: A total of nine people injured after a Matador collided with a truck in Udhampur at around 7:20 this morning.

The matador bearing registration number JK14C-8119 was on its way from Majalta to Manwal hit a Udhampur to Kathua bound truck bearing registration no. JK14A-7267 near Battal Morh resulting injuries to following people.

1. Jeet Singh s/o Hari Singh age-52 yrs r/o Battal.

2. Jitender Singh s/o Chain Singh age-30 yrs r/o Majalta.

3. Om Prakash s/o Beli Ram age- 58 yrs r/o Majalta.

4. Mahinder Lal s/o Mast Ram age- 46 yrs r/o Majalta.

5.Ratni Devi w/o Soba Ram age -50 yrs. R/o Katheel.

6. Soba Ram s/o Greebu age – 60 yrs r/o Katheel.

7. Angrej Chand s/o Amru age-45 yrs r/o Plater.

8. Babita d/o Angrej Chand age- 23 r/o Plater.

9. Tilak Raj s/o Kuldip Singh age-36 yrs r/o Majalta.


Out of these injured people, five has been shifted to PHC Majalta for medical treatment. However, Jeet Singh, Jitender Singh, Om Prakash and Tilak Raj were seriously injured and has been taken to District Hospital Udhampur for medical treatments
