No curfew imposed anywhere in South Kashmir, says IGP
‘People must not pay heed to rumors, baseless reports’
Srinagar, Mar 04: The police chief Syed Javid Mujtaba Gilani on Saturday evening has rejected the reports of any imposition of curfew in South Kashmir, stating that people must not pay any heed to rumors.
Talking to IGP Kashmir SJM Gilani said that the reports are baseless wherein it has been stated that curfew has been imposed in Tral or in any other South Kashmir hamlet. He said such reports are baseless and could be the handiwork of rumor mongers.
Earlier, the reports galore that south Kashmir has come under curfew in view of the gun battle raging between militants and security forces.
