No fuel in ambulances kept for border victims; DC Poonch orders inquiry
JAMMU: In a shocking revelation, it was found that the ambulances parked near border areas to fetch the injured to nearby hospitals are devoid of any fuel. The ambulances kept at PHC Dhargaloon foe border victims for utter display.
The incident came to light when a injured namely Bhagwan Das, got injured and he was being carried by border residents to the ambulance. As the ambulance driver came, he informed that the ambulance cannot take the victime to the hospital as it has no petrol. Shocked, the residents gathered and complained to the DC Poonch. DC poonch has ordered an inquiry over the issue.
The no utility ambulances are shame on part of the administration. While the border residents are suffering the brunt of continuous ceasefire violation from Pak, this is the lease administration could do. This is a sheer case of neglect on part of the administration.
