Former Jammu and Kashmir PDP leader Altaf Bukhari said on Saturday, “Not a single person has been killed in Jammu and Kashmir since Article 370 was removed.” The credit goes to the central government and the people of the valley.
Bukhari, who was the Finance Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in the BJP-PDP coalition government, said, “The praise of the Central Government and the people here for the quiet atmosphere of the valley is less. As a result of the efforts of the government and the understanding of the people, no one died in the violence in the valley since August 5.
Bukhari also targeted Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad. Challenged Azad to prove the allegations against him or else leave the post of Rajya Sabha MP immediately. Azad accused Bukhari of misusing the government machinery.
