No personal staff for Former BJP, PDP Ministers

JAMMU: In the middle of the signals that formation of a popular Government in Jammu and Kashmir may take a little more time, the Governor’s administration today regimented repatriation of staff, posted in Personal Section of the former Ministers.
The officers which are going to be transferred  includes  officers belonging to J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service, other Gazetted Services, HoD Cadre, Class IV officials  of  J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service,  different PSUs,  Heads of  the Departments, Corporations and  the persons, who were appointed by the General Administration Department on agreement  to work in Personal Section of then  Ministers.

The officers/officials of the J&K Secretariat Service are told to report in the feeding department of the concerned former Ministers, till further orders will be given while the officers/officials belonging to HoD cadre, Offices and Corporations are supposed to report back to their parent departments with immediate effect.
The persons who were engaged by the GAD on contract to work in the Personal Section of the former Ministers, shall be paid salary up to January 7, 2016 only and their period of contract shall stand terminated on the said date, as per the terms and conditions of their engagement.
A formal order , Government Order No. 26-GAD of 2016, Dated 14-01-2016, was issued today by the General Administration Department.
Significant  to mention that Governor’s Rule was imposed in Jammu and Kashmir on January 8, following the death of then Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed after a brief illness on January 7.

There are 27 officers belonging to J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service  and other Gazetted  Services, 11 officers belonging to HoD cadre, 70 Class-IV officials of J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service, 31 Class-IV employees of different PSUs and HoDs, otherwise attached with the GAD and 33 Class -IV employees belonging to various HoDs/ offices/ Corporations.
