Kashmir: Normalcy returns in valley; life remains affected

SRINAGAR: Authorities today lifted curfew across Kashmir in view of the the improving situation in Kashmir. While authorities have decided to lift restrictions in valley, normal life continues to be affected in the region.

A police official has confirmed that the curfew has been lifted from entire Kashmir valley.

However, section 144 is still in force in valley where people can’t form or move in groups. The outgoing facilities on cellular service  has been restored  but the Mobile internet is still ban in valley.Mean while  some shops opened  and public transport also can been seen on roads.

Earlier, last night pre-paid service were also restored in the valley. Though, restoration of mobile internet services is still under scanner, ban-lift on pre-paid internet services has brought some relief to the valley residents.

Burhan Wani aftermath has given a major jolt to Kashmir valley. With 84 lives lost and thousands injured the curfew will complete it’s 100th day tomorrow.
