Jammu, October 01: Congress party has decided to go on in the support of ban on beef and oppose the bills seeking its revocation in the state with a view that revocation of ban on cow killing and beef eating can now provoke communal tension across the country.

As per a top source from inside the party, the state Jammu and Kashmir is already a disturbed one. Acceptance of any bill that seeks revocation of ban on cow slaughter and beef eating in the State will not only lead to the communal tension inside the State but can also result in apprehension all around the country. Congress is a national party and it can’t participate in something that tear apart country’s integration.
