The National students union of India Unit Kishtwar (J&k) met with the students of far flung area “Nagseni” of District Kishtwar to aware students about their basic rights including right to education , right to accommodation etc. The Programme was Presided over by NSUI District president Kishtwar Prakash Singh Dadwal. Students from different section of the society met with District President and highlighted him their problems. Addressing the gathering, Prakash Singh Dadwal District President said that there is not only need of Right To Education Act (RTE) but also there is need of Right to Accommodation . He claimed that Centre and the State government ( headed by Omer Abdullaha) is dumb and blind so they are not interested to listen demands of poor Students because their children’s are studying in highfy institutes that is why they donot want to implement such acts in J&K state. He added that the conditions of the school and Colleges are worst, there is insufficient teaching staff to teach, Building are in damaged state, some colleges even lack sitting facility( lack of Desks). .”The NSUI is ready for all kinds of challenges, NSUI will not sit salient and assured the students that he will fight for right to accommodation for students of District Kishtwar also whatever the conditions might be” he said.
