Omar Abdullah casts his vote for the Rajya Sabha elections

Omar Abdullah, ex CM has cast his vote for the Rajya Sabha elections in Civil Secretariat. Omar complained about the inordinate delay in the government formation which is delaying the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the valley. He also said that the BJP and PDP as allies  are ideologically poles apart which could result as an unsuccessful venture for the state.

The Ex-CM also reiterated the fact that if two parties with different roadmaps and different policies can come together, then NC and Congress, both of whom spewed venom against each other in the recent elections, should join hands in the venture.

Among other things Omar mentioned that if BJP and PDP have infact forged an alliance, then why are the two taking forever to form a government in the state that is still recovering from the wrath of the floods.
