Omar taunts CM on the arrest spree in Srinagar

Srinagar, November 02: Taking a jibe on Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed over his order to detain separatist leaders ahead of Prime Minister’s rally in the Kashmir on November 07, the former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that the CM has already made history about the rally.
Speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to valley of November 07, Mufti on Sunday said that the rally is going to be historic. Referring to which Omar tweeted, “Mufti Syed (sic) is right PM’s 7th Nov Srinagar rally will be historic – for the number of people arrested to make the rally possible.”
Omar took twitter to make this taunting remark over CM’s move as usual.
In his tweet, he mentioned the arrest spree started by the government to foil ‘Srinagar million march’ called by Hurriyat (G) leader Syed Ali Geelani.
The march was called to counter PM Modi’s rally in Srinagar and all top separatist leaders, including Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF chairman Yasin Malik were supporting this move by Geelani.
