One army soldier killed in firing in Keran sector of J&K

One soldier of the Indian army has been killed in yet another ceasefire violation at Indo-Pakistan border. The soldier succumbed to his injury in the cross-border firing initiated by Pakistani forces along the international border in Jammu & Kashmir’s Keran sector. The injured soldier was rushed to government hospital. Despite best efforts of the medical team treating him, the jawan could not be saved. The wreath laying ceremony is expected to be held tomorrow. The jawan’s body would be taken back to his village with utmost respect.

The amount of ceasefire violations along the Line of Control has escalated in the aftermath of Uri terror attack on September 18. Despite India using diplomatic channels to warn Pakistan about the aggression shown by its forces, no steps have been taken. Following the surgical strikes carried out by Indian para-commandos to eliminate a bunch of terrorists in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, the military establishment of Rawalpindi has been evidently been rattled.
