Pak flag hoisted on Mufti’s ancestral house this morning

Srinagar, November 24: A Pakistani flag was seen on Mufti’s ancestral house in Bijbehara early today morning. As per reports, thousands of people on gathered to attend Nimaz-e-Jinaza of slain militants who were killed in Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir yesterday in the hometown of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

It is pertinent to mention here that three militants namely Adil, Amir and Arif were killed in an encounter between militants and security forces in south Kashmir’s Ashmuqam area on Monday. Reports say that all the three were the residents of town Bijbehara.

On Tuesday morning, thousands of mourners gathered in Bijbehara to participate in funeral prayers of three local militants. Two of the three slain militant’s bodies have been kept in a local park not far away from the ancestral house of Mufti. Angry people are raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans amidst complete shutdown.

Youths angered at the death of three militants also attacked the ancestral house of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed with stones.
