‘Pakistan Based Internet Radio will describe atrocities on Kashmiri people’: Geelani

Srinagar, September 17: Pakistan’s internet based radio station ‘Sada-i-Hurriyat-e-Kashmir’ has been welcomed by the separatist leaders including their president Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

Hailing the radio service, Geelani has termed it as a step in right direction. He congratulated the sponsors and organizers of the Radio Sada-i-Hurriyat-e-Kashmir program and said that it is a good step towards the awareness campaign regarding the atrocities and to highlight the worst kind of human rights violations going on in Jammu and Kashmir by the State Government.

He also stated that the security forces of India are acting biased with the people of Kashmir making the situation real bad  which cannot be described to the world because the media here is controlled by Indian Government. Now, this radio channel will give voice to the people of Kashmir and their opinions.

Also, separatist leaders like Chairman of Muslim Democratic League Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Chairman of Islamic Political Party Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Head of  Kashmir Freedom Front Bashir Andrabi have felicitated Pakistan for starting its FM channel and expressed hope it will become the voice of every Kashmiri home.
