Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Twice In 5 Hours

JAMMU : Pakistan targeted Indian Army positions along the LoC in Noushera sector of Rajouri district today morning. A few hours later, Pakistan Rangers made another ceasefire violation by targeting civilian population in RS Pura sector in Jammu district.

The Indian security forces retaliated in response.

“From 10 AM, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in Noushera sector of Rajouri district by targeting our positions with mortar bombs and small arms fire. The Army is giving a befitting response to the Pakistani army,” an Army officer stated.

“Several rounds of small arms and mortar shells were fired from the Pakistani side targeting our villages in the RS Pura sector”, a BSF spokesman added.

So far, there has been no report of loss of life or property.
