Srinagar: Parliamentary Delegation Committee headed by Ashwani Kumar, MP, today said that there will be adequate relief for flood victims for J&K. He said this during press briefing in Srinagar today.
He also said that majority of victims didn’t received a penny yet from relief. The delegation also said that there is lot more to done for rehabilitation.
The delegation is in valley from last two days and during their stay in Srinagar, the members of the Committee interacted with NGOs, civil society organizations, central and state government authorities on the issues pertaining to flood forecasting, relief and rehabilitation of flood affected, climate change, pollution control, agriculture, healthcare etc.
