Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to visit J&K to review security situation

Jammu, Aug 22: Manohar Parrikar, Defence Minister will visit Jammu and Kashmir’s Ladakh region on his 2-day tour to review the security and border situation from August 23.

As per Media reports, the Defence Minister accompanied by Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag during his two-day visit will arrive in Ladakh on Sunday and will be received by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command Lt. Gen D S Hooda. He will leave for Delhi on Monday.

During his visit, Defence Minister will hold a high level meeting with the top commanders of Jammu and Kashmir to review the security situation and cross border infiltration and will also address troops in Leh.
