Reports say that he was being questioned for whole day on Sunday because of the fact that he was travelling on the same route taken by the terrorists in the wee hours.

Pertinently, an IG-rank officer had visited Gurdaspur last week who heads the departmental of Sexual Harassment Committee after complaint of sexual harassment had been filed against the SP by five women constables. He was transferred pending further inquiry and on administrative grounds to PAP, Jalandhar, two days before the terrorists kidnapped him.

However, Salwinder has denied the claims of being into detention and said that he is being wrongly accused and there are no cases of misconduct in my life. ” I was kidnapped by the terrorists and the investigation will clear it soon,” he added.
