Mehbooba is set to interact with the senior party leaders from Jammu Province during her three-day stay here from Feb 02. The interaction will be deliberated upon the  present political scenario of the state.

According to the insiders of People Democratic Party, Mehbooba will seek the opinion of senior leaders regarding the performance of the PDP-BJP coalition government during its 10 months of governance.

The sources also said that it was decided earlier that a meeting of senior party workers, candidates who had contested the 2014 Assembly elections and zonal presidents will be chaired by Mehbooba Mufti on Feb 03. There were going to be discussions over the latest developments in the state and their feedback over the government formation in the state. But now, the president of PDP has decided to meet only ‘some’ senior leaders of Jammu province.
