PDP protest over Baltal incident

Jammu: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today tooK out a procession to register resentment over Baltal incident happened on yesterday and inaction of Jammu and Kashmir government to pacify the situation.

A larger number of PDP activists led by Bharat Choudhary, PDP party candidate from Jammu East constituency along with Vikram Singh, Ashok Jogi, Rafiq Malik, Chaman Angral, Nirmal khour, Praveen Akhtar and Kiran Devi participated in protest march which started from party office Hari Theater, Raghunath Bazaar area various localities, the protest rally culminated at City Chowk.

Addressing the protesters, Bharat said that state government is sole responsible for the violating situation in Baltal. He added that as per reported there was a minor issue between Langar wallas and Pony wallas but government as well as security agencies failed to solve it , which take violent shape later.

Vikram Singh, Ashok Jogi and Rafiq Malik said that present state government had failed on all front and rejected by the people in recent concluded Lok Sabha elections, adding , “it seem to be a preplanned of government to instigate religious emotion of two communities for election gain.”
They also appalled the people of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain the year old brotherhood and don’t fall in trap of opportunist politician.

Meanwhile, the leaders led by Choudhary also staged protest against Power Development Department (PDD) here at Prem Nagar. while addressing the gathering informed that people of Prem Nagar reeling under complete blackout from last three days as the transformer of the areas got damaged. He added that despite of repeated requests to Chief Engineer PDD, authorities failed to restore the electricity in the area.

He further alleged that people aloes approached the locals MLA, Ashok Khajuria but he also don’t have time to listn the grievances of people.
