JAMMU: In connection with celebration of Mahashivratri festival at Jamvant Gufa, Peer Khoh witnessed a huge rush of devotees on the third day of festival today.
The festival has been organized by the Directorate of Tourism Jammu aimed to promote tourism activities in the area. Elaborated arrangements have been made by the administration to facilitate the pilgrims while ethnic food stalls, fun rides and camel rides are main attractions of the festival.
A colourful cultural programme based on religious theme was presented by the artists of J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu which was witnessed by large number of people.
MLA-elect Jammu West, Sat Pal Sharma, MLA-elect Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta, Joint Director Tourism Jammu, Dr. Narupa Rai, Deputy Director Tourism, Vinakshi Koul and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
Various social organizations and representatives of Travel and Trade Industry are also participating in the event.
