SRINAGAR NOVEMBER 04- Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings, Ch. Lal Singh Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Jammu and Kashmir would be for development and prosperity.
“People have great expectations from the visit of the Prime Minister who is a visionary and has his eyes fixed on overall development of Jammu and Kashmir, for the benevolence of the people of this place,” Lal Singh said.
“PM’s visit to our State is going to be for development and prosperity,” he said. Singh said that Jammu and Kashmir has waited for a long for some logical package and termed PM’s scheduled visit as a breakthrough in the history of the State.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Srinagar on November 7.
Lal Singh, while taking review of the arrangements at Srinagar said that Jammu and Kashmir needs a wholehearted support from the Centre and hoped that PM would address it during his visit.
Lal Singh said that State initially got a political package in the shape of present coalition government (PDP-BJP) which he said was delivering services up to the expectations of the people of the State.
“Our State is on the verge of witnessing a new era of development and prosperity,” he said. “PM visit is the beginning of a new era and it will set the trend for further developments expected in our State,” he added.
