Police hosted Iftaar parties at Srinagar, Ganderbal and Kargil

Srinagar July 14: In its efforts to strengthen the police public relations, State Police has hosted Iftaar parties in Srinagar, Kargil and Ganderbal districts.
As the part of the civic action programme JKAP 9th Bn hosted an Iftaar and dinner at Armed police complex Zewan. The orphan children, members of civil society and families of police personnel putting up at Armed police complex Zewan attended the function and broke fast with the police personnel of the unit. The Iftaar was followed by the Magrib prayers and the dinner.
IGP Armed/IRP Kashmir Zone Shri Sunil Kumar among others attended the function. He interacted with the children of orphanage and the other guests and said that the Iftaar was arranged to give a sense of belonging to the orphan children and make them feel that they are important part of the society. He added that Such functions also help to strengthen the police Public relations.
Meanwhile, a Kargil Police hosted an Iftaar party which was attended by large number of person from different walks of life including political army civil administrating, the member of civil society and religious personalities.
Police Ganderbal hosted an Iftaar Party at Shadipora. A large number of persons including civil society members, religious personalities broker their fast with the police personnel.
