Police officer helps differently abled pilgrim at Katra Railway Station


Katra, June 27: Except the routine duties in stressful atmosphere, Police personnel have also played several humanitarian role but rarely catch in cameras.

In similar case a Police Officer caught helping a differently abled pilgrim at Katra railway station, who came to take She Mata Vaishno Devi Journey.

Policeman helps a differently abled person

As per eyewitness, Inspector Rakesh Kumar in-charge special branch GRP-Katra was on routine patrolling duty when he saw a differently abled person, who is unable to walk and wait for convenience in under open sky in hot afternoon.

“Sitting of passengers and Pilgrims at the station is a routine matter but police officer spotted something on his way out that he just couldn’t ignore,” eyewitness said.

Very quickly officer observed that the person is unable to walk, taking initiative, he took the man in his arm and reach the parking area outside the station and stop a three wheeler & helped the said person to sit in the vehicle.
