Policemen injured in militant attack in south Kashmir’s Shopian
Militants fled from the spot after opening fire on the patrol party.
Shopian July 09: Four policemen were injured Thursday when suspected militants fired at a patrol party outside the Court complex in Shopian town of south Kashmir, officials said.
They said that the injured policemen were immediately shifted to a hospital where one among the injured is stated to be critical.
The militants, police sources said, fled from the spot after opening fire on the patrol party.
A search operation has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
No militant organization has so far claimed the responsibility of the attack.
