KATRA, JUNE 28: Minister of State for Education, Information and Culture Priya Sethi along with Senior leader Yudhvir Sethi attended valedictory function of the Arvind’s Lets learn Summer camp, here last evening.
The function was held at Amphi theatre of Spiritual Growth Centre.
Priya was chief guest on the occasion and Yudhvir Sethi was guest of honor at the culmination function of the camp.
Underscoring on the role of extracurricular activities, the Minister said such activities help in over all personality development and students should involve themselves in activities which promote camaraderie, adding that learning new skills like music, singing helps in easing mental tension of studies.
She said school teachers should also organise such camps and extra attention needs to be paid to develop extra skills among students in the schools.
“Government is committed to provide quality education in the schools and all our efforts are being made to equip the schools with needed human resources and infrastructure,” she added.
While speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir lauded efforts of Arvind’s Lets Learn for organising the camp in the holy picturesque location of Katra and called upon the parents to motivate their children for learning new skills along with studies.
He appreciated the efforts of Arvind sharma managing director, Mr. Ajay singh, director and Mr. Pankaj khajuria, director summer camp of Arvind’s Lets Learn to explore the hidden talent of children participated in the camp.
Prominent among those who attended the function include, S.D.M Katra Mr. Anil chandel, Addl. S.P Mr.Sumir Kotwal, Mr. D.K.Kapoor, Mr.R.S. Manhas, Mrs.Sharda devi, Mrs. Manisha Sharma, Mr. Ghansara singh , Mr. Laddi sharma, Mr. Rmnik sharma, Mr.Jatinder heera and Mr. Mohan prashar.
Mr. Harsh, Mr. Chandan, Mr.Sanjeev dewan and Miss Sheetal were the instructors and the show was conducted by Mrs. Anupam Sharma.
