Railway decides to introduce bi-weekly train between Jammu-Kanpur


Jammu, June 24: Railway has decided to introduce a new bi-weekly train between Jammu Tawi and Kanpur Central for the convenience of passengers.  This bi-weekly train will run from Kanpur Central on every Wednesday and Sunday at 5:15 pm and will reach Jammu at 12:10 pm the next day.

The train from Jammu Tawi railway station will run at 5:30 pm on every Wednesday and Sunday and will cover the distance of 1017 Km to reach Kanpur next day at 1:55 pm.

The train will have stoppages at Pathankot Cantt,  Jalandhar Cant, Ludhiana Jn, Ambala Cant Jn, Saharanpur      , Muzaffar Nagar, Meerut City, Hapur, Bulandshahar, Khurja Junction, Aligarh Junction, Tundla Junction and Etawah between the journey in both the directions.

The train will have the coaches of Class – 2AC, Class -3AC, Class –Sleeper and general class.
