Jammu, August 20: BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav and working President of the National Conference Omar Abdullah Saturday traded barbs over the handling of Kashmir issue on the social networking site.
Reacting to the statement of Omar Abdullah after he emerged out of the meeting with President of India Madhav triggered a debate by questioning the real intentions behind the political stunt, “Talk of political solution is only to score political points. They did nothing to help State bring normalcy. In stead helped spread unrest”.
In another veiled attack on the politicians, Madhav raised the bar by writing another provocative tweet, “When govt hosted I-Day in all districts n Ministers went 2 hoist tricolour most of d worthies were simply absent. That’s political solution”.
Angry Omar hit back by writing, “you have your IB, MI, RAW, CID. Stop tweeting about us spreading unrest & go use your evidence to file sedition case”.In another tweet Omar explained, “We have offered you solutions both while in power & out of it but you are deaf to what you don’t like hearing!”
PDP spokesperson also jumped in the arena with series of tweets to corner Omar and other NC leaders.
PDP spokesperson tweeted, “The guns and insecurity in the valley was inherited by us from the previous govt. We became the minesweepers for their deeds”.
“The same political forces who are responsible in the first place for the turmoil in Kashmir are revivifying disorder”tweeted PDP spokesperson.
Calling for peace PDP spokesperson also tweeted, “We all collectively need to bring J&K out of this turmoil and this is not possible with violence, disorder or guns”.
At this moment Omar once again reacted sharply by tweeting,”What is it about us meeting the Hon President that has both @BJP4India & @jkpdp lashing out at us? Is meeting President anti-national?
His close aide Tanvir Saddiq joined his leader saying,”Forgot?@BJP4India didn’t evn gve a cursory glance 2 autonomy report passed by 2/3rd majority of the state legislature”. (JKNI)
