Randeep Hooda in Jammu’s Nowshra; visits migrant camps
RAJOURI: Renowned Bollywood Actor Randeep Hooda on the invitation of Khalsa Aid, visited border migrant camps today at Nowshera and interacted with them about their sufferings. He was accompanied by Amarpreet Singh, MD Khalsa Aid, Gagandeep Singh, Dr. Kawaljeet Singh, Er. Jeevanjyot Singh, Kavleen Singh, Manpreet Singh, GurJot Singh and Harleen Singh. Hooda expressed shock over loss of lives and property of border migrants who have been targeted time and again. He condemned violation and targeting civilian population on any side of the Border. He said that certain measures are essential to ensure safety and security of border area people.
He also met children and old aged persons in the camp and assured them that Khalsa Aid will provide every possible help to them during the hours of need. He appreciated efforts made by Khalsa Aid Organization in these areas. He said, “The best way to find refuge in gratification is by serving the refugees.”
The Volunteers of Selfless Service & Non Profit Organization ‘Khalsa Aid’ have been doing an exemplary work by serving of langar(free kitchen services) to the border migrants of Nowshera sector of J&K. In addition to provision of langar, sports equipment (football, volleyball cricket bats and balls) were distributed among the children to uplift their warrior spirit. The state administration recognised the work and appreciated their earnest efforts.
The organisation has been known worldwide for their relentless service in conflict zones, natural disasters covering 23 countries including Iraq,Syria, Nepal, Africa, Somalia, Kashmir, Philippines, Bosnia to mention few and work for the goodwill and exaltation of people in need on humanitarian grounds and their assistance from last 4 to 5 days for border migrants has been a blessing to both the givers and the receivers.
