Relief Camp Organised by Miran Sahib Police

IMG-20140922-WA0006 (1)Jammu: Today the staff of Police Station Miran Sahib contributed collectively for the Novel causes and distributed materials which includes-blankets, rice, flour, edible oil and other daily use household items to the flood affected people in the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib. The Superintendent of Police, Hqrs. Jammu, and SHO Police Station Miran Sahib were present during the relief camp.
    Besides, a Public meeting was conducted in Govt. High School Brij Nagar under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib. On this occasion, SP Hqrs. Jammu, S.Randheer Singh was accompanied by Inspr. Sanjeev Singh Chib, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib. Hundreds of the villagers of the area were present during this meet.
           The participants highlighted some genuine issues, for which on spot directions were issued to SHO,  and for other issues they have been assured that the matter will taken up with the concerned authorities.
             At the location sport kits were provided to the youths of the area, who during various interactions with the Police were asking for the same.  Besides this, blanket were also given to floods affected needy persons of the area.
                The general public/youths have appreciated the move of the Jammu Police in not only maintaining peace and tranquility in the area but simultaneously remaining always on the fore front to perform social responsibilities as well, and giving the youths an opportunity to get themselves involved in the sports activities and not to fall prey to any drug abuse.
             The participants extended their support to police in tightening nose around the criminals by providing timely information, and assured that they will remain united to face any challenge in maintaining peace and tranquility in the area. They also extended their volunteer support in maintaining a complete check over such elements.
