Udhampur: The 137 Bn Central Reserve of Police Force(CRPF) Udhampur organized a relief camp for the flood and landslide affected families in the village Baryal and adjoining areas in Udhampur district here today.
The camp was organized under the overall supervision of Commandant 137 Bn CRPF, Jakhani, Mukesh Kumar, under the direction of Inspector General of Police, CRPF Jammu, Kuldeep Dhar.
During the camp, the Commandant alongwith Deputy Commandant, Mr. Anil Shekhawat distributed relief material which included ration, drinking water and food items etc among the flood affected families.
Commandant, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, while expressing sympathies with the affected people, said that the CRPF stands with them in this hour of grief and sorrow and assured every possible help from the CRPF side
Among others, Sarpanch Barayal, Mr. Ram Paul, Inspector, Mr Adalt Hussain, senior officers of the CRPF battalion, Jawans, official of revenue department, prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion.
