Retiring officers accorded warm, affectionate send off by PHQ


SRINAGAR:  A warm send off was given at a simply function held at PHQ this evening in honour of Chief Accounts Officer, Mr. Morar Jee Bhat, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Shah and S. Aujal Singh, on their superannuation. The officers superannuated on 31st May, 2014 after serving in the department for a long time.
The farewell function was presided over by the Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar and attended by IsGP, Mr. A.K. Choudhary, Mr. H.K.Lohia, Mr. S.K. Sharma and other senior police officers.
On the occasion, Mr. Rajendra lauded the role of the superannuating officers for their dedication and professionalism. He said that these officers during their long service career in the department had a contribution for strengthening the department. He said that they were most professional officers of the Organization, by the dint of whose dedication and valour, the Police Organization has achieved heights of excellence. He said that they rendered an exemplary service and has been always loyal to the law which has been recognized at different levels.
The DGP said that police headquarters will be always available for the retiring officers and whenever they require any assistance, they can approach the department without any hesitation. He wished them a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
The ADGP (Headquarters), Mr. S. P. Vaid, who was present also addressed the function and appreciated the contribution of the superannuating officers and said that they have proved themselves very dedicated and people friendly police officers.
Mr. Morar Jee, Mr. Shabir and Sardar Aujal Singh also shared their experiences of their service carrier and thanked the DGP and the officers of PHQ for their support and guidance.
