Rs 5 crore aid to flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir by Assam government


>Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today directed odfficials that Rs five crore be given from the state government for the people affected by unprecedented flood in the northern state, the spokesman told media.

> Meanwhile, Assam’s Additional Director General of Police (Vigilance and Anti Corruption) Rajkumar Chandranathan has reached Jammu and Kashmir to render assistance to the people of Assam stranded in that state, the spokesman said.
