SRINAGAR : Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj System, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar Friday said that the coalition Government left no stone unturned in touching the heights of development of all the three regions of the State during last five years regime.
Mr. Sagar was interacting with a number of deputations, who called on him here today, to apprise him about the problems confronting them.
The deputationists felicitated the Minister for his efforts in sanctioning a number of Administrative Units in the State by the Government.
The Minister said that the credit of all successes of Government goes to people, as people are real power and people choose public representatives of their choice. He assured that many more steps are in offing to provide succour to needy and other basic amenities to uncovered areas of the State.
Referring to the initiatives taken by the Government for providing dignified employment to youth of the State, Mr. Sagar said that besides filling thousands of vacancies in various Government departments, the Government launched various employment generating schemes for assuring self employment for youth.
The Minister warned people of vested interests who are bent upon damaging the peaceful atmosphere of the State and said that we should unitedly fight such elements for assuring progress and prosperity of the State.
