Jammu: Impressed by the pro-development and common man centric programs and policies of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a large number of prominent traders , social and political activists joined the party fold.
The joining function was held at Jain Bazaar wherein Bharat Choudhary, party candidate from Jammu East constituency along with Vikram Singh, Ashok Jogi, Vijay Raina, Praveen Akhtar, Ram Sarup, Amit Gupta, Asif Din, Pandit Brij and others.
Welcoming the new entrant, Choudhary said that pro development approach of party patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed invited lots of attention of the people. He said that the Mufti led regime in 2002 had changed the political history of Jammu and Kashmir state. He added that during Mufti led government no backdoor appointments were happened , every deserving youth got employment without any political biasness. He further said that the present collation government has failed to address the issues like corruption which is at its peak in the government.
Vikram Singh, Ashok Jogi said the PDP had left very positive impact on the minds of hearts and minds of people irrespective of their cast, religions, region and same is visible as more and more people join the campaign of good governance started by the party.
