Jammu/Srinagar: Severe cold continued in Kashmir Valley as bright sunshine greeted people in Jammu city on Monday, a day after cloudy and cold weather.
“The minimum temperature in Srinagar was minus 4.2 degrees Celsius today (Monday). Due to cloud cover, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around eight degrees in the city,” an official of the local Met department said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at minus 2.7 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam and minus five degrees Celsius in Gulmarg, the weather office said.
“Leh town recorded minus 13.3 degrees Celsius while Kargil town recorded minus 12.0 degrees Celsius in the Ladakh region.”
