Shopian opens after eight days of shutdown


Srinagar Mar 13: The shops and other business establishments in Shopian resumed their work after eight days of a complete strike against the killing of four civilians at the hands of Army soldiers on March 4.

Four civilians and two militants were killed by Army soldiers at Pahnoo village of the south Kashmir district.
The locals of Pahnoo area are demanding the removal of the Army camp which was established during 2016 uprising.

Local sources said that shops and other business houses have opened and started their routine work from today while as public transport started plying on the roads.
