Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Organizes Bhashan Pratiyogita


Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu quite often is organizing Religious/Spiritual programmes for religiously devoted citizens besides, various character building programmes for the development t of the children who are the future of any Nation. As the proverb goes that when wealth is lost, nothing is lost, when health is lost, something is lost but when character is lost, everything is lost, keeping this in view, a programme of Bhashan Pratiyogita on चरित्र  ही सब धर्मों  का  मूल  है” was organised today the 17th of December, 2016 in Mandir premises, wherein students from 6th to 12th classes of twenty schools sprawling throughout Jammu City, participated in the Pratiyogita.

Prof. Ashok Aima Vice Chancellor, Central University  Jammu was the Chief Guest and Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Management Trustpresided over. Two participants from each school participated in this Pratiyogita. A panel of three senior professors of Jammu University constituted the judging committee.

The following participants were awarded 1st, 2nd &3rd prize respectively

  1. Miss Rudhrakshi of Class 11th,of Co-operative Public High School, Deeli, Jammu.
  2. Miss Priya Malbotra of Class 10th ,of Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu.
  3. 3 Miss Supriya Uttam of Class 10th , of Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu.

Besides, the following two students were given Consolation Prizes:- Harjot Kaur of Class 10th of Heritage School, Sainik Colony Jammu &  Samiya Aziz of Class 12th of Shikaha Niketan Hr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar, Jammu and two special prizes were also awarded to Master Vatsal of Class 4th and Shambhavi Sharma D/o Sh. Rakesh Sharma of class U.K.G of Rich Harvest School Shastri Nagar. Participation certificates were also awarded to all the participants and a trophy was awarded to the Dogra Hr. Sec. School Shartri Nagar, Jammu for over all best performance of the team. Cash Prizes of Rs 2000/-, 1500/-, 1000/- to the 1st/2nd/3rd position holders respectively and four consolation prizes of Rs.500/- were also awarded to the winning students by the Chief Guest.

In his address to a huge gathering of students and general public including the management Trutees, Prof. Ashok Aima VC of Central University Jammu, he emphasized that to build the character of the youth, such like programmes need be continuously pursued with Vigor. The whole proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ms. Isha Gupta.

In the end Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak President of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust expressing his gratitude to the Management, Staff and Students of the participating Schools said that Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust organizes such programmes to inculcate the moral values in the youth who are the future of the Country.

Thereafter a preeti bhoj was arranged and served to all present in the function.
