Jammu, Oct 26: Six civilians were injured on Monday due to indiscriminate shelling by Pakistan Rangers on the international border in Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu region, police said.
Extensive damage has been caused to civilian property in, the office added.
A mini bus belonging to Pardeep Singh was damaged in Bobiya village while another villager Daljit Singh lost his cow and a buffalo calf.
The officer also said that BSF has been appropriately and effectively retaliatingand firing.
Due to fear and panic, villagers started migrating from many villages on the international border since Sunday evening.
The administration has set up makeshift camps in school buildings for these people away from the international border.
