Slathia inaugurates additional classrooms in GGMS Bandral
SAMBA :- Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated three additional class rooms in Government Girls Middle School, Bandral in Ramgarh which has been completed at the cost of Rs.6.95 lakh and constructed under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) out of which Rs two lakh has been released out of CDF and rest of the amount released under SSA.
Later, Slathia addressed public meeting and the people of the area submitted a charter of demand to MLA which included re-construction of old school building, up-gradation of electric transformer, Black topping of the road, construction of shamshan ghat road, etc. Slathia issued directions to the concerned authority for upgradation of electric transformer, black topping of the road and construction of shamshan ghat road shall be taken up soon. He assured the people that the re-construction of old school building shall also be taken up soon.
While speaking on the occasion, Slathia said that the Omar led coalition government is committed to provide better quality education to the people of the far flung areas. He cautioned the people against the opposition who are dividing the people on communal basis. Among others the district officers of different department accompanied the MLA.
