Special polling booths established for Kashmiri migrants

A large number of Kashmiri pandit migrant voters exercised their franchise in Roopnagar, Muthi, Janipur and Jagti today.  The Election Commission of India has made provision of 21 special polling stations in district Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi to enable Kashmiri Migrants to cast their vote. Displaced from their houses,there are over 92000 Kashmiri pandits in Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi. A total of 18 constituencies were scheduled to go for polls in Phase 4 today.
