Jammu: Jammu administration had captured around about 150 pigeons, who were spying against India. Last week Jammu administration had captured 154 pigeons that was been smuggled from Punjab to Kashmir. All the Pigeons were kept in fruit boxes and being transferred from Punjab to Kashmir. It alerted security forces when they found that the pigeons had special marking on them and their wings were clipped moreover that species of pigeons are not found in India.

“A few days ago, police seized a few cartons from a Kashmir-bound vehicle in which 153 pigeons were being smuggled to the Kashmir Valley. The pigeons had strange pink marking and suspicious rings after which the DC Jammu referred the case to the CID for investigation,” Sunil Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu, said.
Reportedly, the pigeons have been handed over to a non-government organization (NGO) Save Animals Value Environment (SAVE). SAVE NGO chairman, however, wrote to Deputy Commissioner (DC) after rings on the claws of pigeons raised suspicions.
According to Deputy Commissioner (DC) has ordered a probe into the issue. The birds would be released only after the investigation is completed, the police official said. An order also has been given to authorities to gather all the details associated with these pigeons within 20 days.
As tension between India and Pakistan is raising an alert for, Indian Air Force has also been issued that “Pakistan is spying in India through unconventional methods”
So, Administration had taken this incident seriously and appropriate action will be taken.
