Vikram said that students will not at all allow anybody to change the nature of the play grounds by constructing buildings on it.
Neeraj Kundan (State President, NSUI) also came out alongwith its supporters and joined the protest demonstration and offered full support to the students. He said that NSUI will leave no stone unturned to get their demands fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Sat Sharma (MLA Jammu West) also reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesting students but the students did not listen him till he ordered to stop construction process in play ground with immediate effect. He assured students and others that he will never allow anybody to construct the building on the said cricket ground. He said that the playgrounds are required to shape the futures of the sportsmen and grounds should be preserved at any cost.
Pushvinder Singh Manhas (Founder and Chief of Jammu Justice Secular Forum) who was also present on the occasion said that the State Government should refrain from playing with the sentiments and career of the students and sportsmen of the state. He warned the concerned authorities not to carry the said proposal of the construction on play ground and should look for another appropriate location for the said construction. He threatened the concerned authorities of an agitation if the proposed site for construction is not changed.
