Carrying forward its mission to develop and maintain better police public relations, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Rajouri under the Civic Action Programme today distributed free school bags, books, note-books and other study materials amongst poor and needy 50 students of various Primary schools of Budhal and Kandi area at Girls Higher school Budhal and police station Kandi respectively. The function was attended by hundreds of school children including Headmaster Abdul Rashid ,Sarpanch Budhal Badder Din and other villagers of the adjoining areas speak on the occasions and conveyed thanks to J&K Police for distributing study materials to needy students of remote villages. They requested for organizing such programmes in future also for the overall development of their children.
While speaking on the occasion, Sh.Tejinder Singh, Addl.S.P Rajouri and sho PS Budhal Parmod Singh Bajju and SHO PS Kandi Haji Bashir emphasized on the need of providing education to the students, which in turn can help in development of the area.
Addl.SP, Rajouri further said that it is the endeavor of J&K Police to make society literate and aware about their legal rights.
