Surrender, Shun Violence! Police, Army make ‘Joint Surrender’ offer to militants in Kashmir (Watch Video)


Army, police and CRPF in a joint pressers appealed militants to surrender and asked them to shun the path of violence.

Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) on Monday made a joint surrender offer to militants operating in Kashmir.
Addressing a joint press conference in Srinagar, Inspector General of Police Muneer Khan said officers who help in surrender of militants will be rewarded.

“He (Adil) could’ve been killed by forces, preferred to give him chance to live come to mainstream. That’s why caught him alive. It’s a clear message to others who have been lured into all this that if they come, we receive them with open hearts,” IGP Kashmir said.

Meanhwile, Z Hassan, CRPF IG said that , “ We want to assure every person in valley your future would be safe if you decide to get away from whoever is misguiding you.”
