Suspected rebels shoot dead policeman in south Kashmir’s Pulwama
Suspected rebels have shot dead a policeman in Quil area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Early morning, suspected rebels fired shots at constable Khurshid Ahmad Ganai (Belt no 299/PL), son of Abdul Aziz, outside his house in Quil area of Pulwama district. official sources said.
Ganai, who was on way to the district police lines Pulwama, sustained critical injuries in the rebels attack. He was removed to Sub district hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Today’s attack comes two days after rebels tossed grenades at a police team in main town, Pulwama, leaving at least twenty policemen and civilians, including three top police officers injured.
