Taj visits flood hit Uri areas, oversees rehab of victims
URI: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Taj Mohi ud Din has assured the people of flood hit areas of Uri that Government would leave no stone unturned in their rehabilitation and resumption of normal activities in their areas.
The Minister during the last two days visited Bela, Salamabad, Boniyar, Uri and other areas which were severely hit by the flash floods on September 4.
Mr. Taj assured the people that Government has launched a drive to re build the public infrastructure on war footing. He said he would personally be monitoring their rehabilitation and resumption of public services in these areas.
Earlier, the Minister reviewed the pace of rehabilitation in these areas with officers of district administration. He was told that work on resumption of road connectivity in these areas is in full swing and Bela bridge has temporarily been restored for traffic.
