Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men suffered splinter injuries after suspected terrorists lobbed a grenade towards CRPF party near State Bank of India near Mehdi Kadal area in Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
Reports said that the terrorists hurled a grenade and opened fire at a CRPF post deployed at State Bank of India for routine duty at Anantnag, resulting into the injuries of two CRPF men.
However, the injured CRPF men were shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area to nab the assailants.
