Thakur Hari Singh holds public meeting at Ramban, supports Azad
Thakur Hari Singh, Vice President J&K PCC has said that UPA would come back to power for the third time with other secular forces together to defeat the communal forces in the country.
Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Ramban,Thakur Hari Singh said that only Congress led alliance can keep the country together and push it on the path of peace, progress & prosperity. He said that India is a pluralistic society with people of different faiths and shades of opinion living together in harmony. The forces trying to create wedge for their political gains are harming the social and secular fabric of the nation. The secular forces would always join hands to keep such forces away from the power. He appealed to the voters of Ramban and adjoining areas to exercise their franchise in large number and contribute their share in the success of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Local MLA Ashok Kumar Dogra in his address praised the working of Ghulam Nabi Azad and said that people of Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Constituency are lucky that they have got the opportunity to elect him (Azad) as their representative in the Lok Sabha. He appealed the people of the area to cast their valuable vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad on the poll Day i.e 17th April and ensure his victory..
